Events Coming Up

March 3-5.  I'll be attending a WordCamp in Dayton Ohio. I'm not speaking but learning new technology for WordPress.  I'm looking forward to sharing and utilizing some of the topics I'll learn. 

March 7th.  Kristi from Everyday Aesthetic Solutions will be hosting a conference in MS.  I'll be presenting via Skype on 5 Keys to Facebook Marketing, a new presentation that discusses boosting Fans, Advertising with Facebook and inviting people to like your page when you are not friends.  I hope to be doing more of these webinar type presentations in the future. 

April 18th in Atlanta GA.  The National Aesthetic Spa Network event.  I am not speaking but will be exhibiting.  I hope to see you there.

Top Level Domains (TLD)
Most companies like a .com or .net with their domain name.  But now, there are hundreds of top level domains (TLD) to choose from.  I've seen .agency .tv and several others.  I will also be offering some of these domain names. Why have a different TLD?

Stand out from the rest
Your .com domain was already taken
Visitors will immediately know what you do

Although these TLD do not help with search engine ranking, they rank the same as any other domain name.  You are no better off but no worse either.  However, it's a great way to "own" your company name.
