Great Labor Day Mile Boasts Great Performances On All Levels in All Age Groups!
The Great Labor Day Mile took place on Monday, September 7, 2015 at Gwinnett Place Mall in Duluth, GA.  It was just a few days ago, but it feels like a distant memory!

The Mall, transformed for a brief time into an arena of exciting athletic competition, is now back to being a shopping mall.  The quarter mile markers are gone, the banners have come down, the finish area tents have all been put away, and there are no traces to be found of a starting line or a finish line.  Ring Road, the super fast course that runners traversed around the mall, is now just a road.

What remains is the memory of a wonderful day filled with wonderful performances.

USATF Georgia would like to thank everyone that contributed to making this event a success - from our sponsors to our volunteers, our officials, the USATFGA Board of Directors, and our special guest Sir Peter Snell.  Then a very special thank you to all of our athletes who ranged in age and ability from 7 years old to 91 years old, from beginning runners to American record holders!
