Race #2 - The Great Labor Day Mile - 9/7/15

Dear USATF Georgia Members,  Our first GP race is now history. The ATL 10K was held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 in the Castleberry Hill area of Atlanta, GA. We wish to thank our host - Running Nerds - for a great event! There were distances for everyone - a one miler, the GP 10K and a 20K run and a 20K relay. Results are being tabulated and the GP standings will be posted at www.usatfga.org shortly.
The 2nd GP race in the series is our very own Great Labor Day Mile on Monday,  September 7, 2015 at Gwinnett Place Mall, Duluth, GA. The event features (5) one mile races on a super fast certified course around Gwinnett Place Mall.
If you've not registered yet, you can still register online tonight at Active.com, or you can take advantage of late registration at Gwinnett Place Mall (Lenscrafters Entrance), Duluth, GA on Sunday, September 6, 2015 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Come out and meet Sir Peter Snell who is scheduled to speak at 4 p.m. Don't miss this great opportunity to talk to a great Olympian and world class middle distance runner. Joining him will be the great master runner - Kathy Martin.
Finally, last change to register will be at the race from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

#3 -We are looking forward to the next two races in the series. Douglas County Rogue Runners do a great job with their classic City of Douglasville 36th Annual Moonlight Run. It's a wonderful night race that attracts over 1500 runners!

#4 - The Locomotive Half Marathon is hosted by Run For It Productions. They are known for not only the Locomotive series of races but dozens of other races in the metro area.
