Emma Grace Hurley, Athlete

 USATF Georgia member Emma Grace Hurley is being recognized by the USATF Georgia Association for her accomplishments as an athlete and as someone who is doing great things on and off the playing field.

Current athletic highlights:

• She is undefeated against Georgia competition in the 2014 Cross Country season.
• She is an 1A-Private State champion and qualified for Foot Locker Nationals, Her cross country 5K PR is 17:15 (set at the Foot Locker South meet).
• Current Track season PR's: 4:56 in the 1600 and 10:44 in the 3200, undefeated to date. 

Off the track....

• Emma Grace has studied violin since she was 5 years old. She currently plays violin on the worship teams at her school (Fellowship Christian School) and her church (Perimeter Church, John's Creek, GA).
• Emma Grace serves as an Ambassador at Fellowship, which includes leading admissions' tours and serving in other leadership roles for various school events.
• "I have enjoyed working for the past 5 summers as a camp counselor at Fellowship Christian School's Sports Camp, which serves elementary students from Fellowship and the surrounding community. I enjoy serving in the community and have logged (since my freshman year) over 130 service hours in various programs including: Perimeter Church and FCS worship teams, Operation Christmas Child, Wiphan Ministries and Feel Beautiful Today."

 We are proud of Emma Grace's athletic achievements, and even more proud of her contributions to her community. She is a great asset to the USATF and the Georgia Association!

Coaching Education Grants
USATF Georgia Coaches Advisory Committee is pleased to offer grants for the 2015 summer quarter to assist coaches in an opportunity to attend a USATF Level 1/2 School to enhance their professional growth.

An application is available at www.usatfga.org -  Grant Application

Please review the application for eligibility criteria.  All applications will be forwarded to the grants sub-committee of the Coaches Advisory Committee. Selection and notification to recipients will be made within 10 days of the submission.
