We would like to thank USATFGA T&F Chair Gwenn Loud-Johnson for a great line up of Lunch and Learns throughout 2014.The latest Lunch and Learn - "Making Good Transitions" took place on November 29th and featured Olympian Dwight Phillips.

Dwight shared his journey through high school to the Gold Medal podium! The attendees were inspired to believe in their dream to reach for the top! Note:  Dwight recently was appointed USATF GA AAC (Athletes Advisory) Chair.

 
 
 Chaunte Lowe named 2014 USATF Outdoor High Jump Champion
 INDIANAPOLIS (USATF National)

 Chaunte Lowe (Riverside, California) has been named the 2014 USATF Outdoor Champion in the women's high jump, following a ruling by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) that imposed a 21-month sanction against Inika McPherson (Houston, Texas) and disqualified her results.

 Lowe, a two-time Olympian, initially finished as the runner-up in Sacramento, clearing 1.94m/6-4.25. The American record holder, Lowe is now a six-time USATF outdoor champion.

USATF National JO XC Championships
MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina

The USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships were held on December 12, 2014 at the Whispering Pines Golf Course in Myrtle Beach, SC. Over 3,400 athletes competed in the event, representing 16 regions and over 300 track teams.
