Voting is now open to select the USATF 2014 Youth Athlete of the Year

 Nominated this year was one of Georgia's standout athletes - Daloria Boone from Milledgeville, GA. Daloria competes with four other athletes for this award.

 You will remember Daloria Boone from our Georgia Annual Meeting this year.  She was presented with the President's Award for Athletic Excellence.

 Daloria Boone is a member of Baldwin County Jets Track Club. She is an outstanding athlete and a straight "A" student. These are her Track & Field accomplishments this Year:

 2014 Indoor National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships , March 7-9, 2014

Landover, Maryland - Prince George's County Sports and Learning Complex 1st Place, 55 Meters - 7.29  (Set new meet record)
1st Place, 200 Meters - 25.93
 2nd Place, 400 Meters - 59.57
1st Place,  Long Jump - 5.91 m **set new meet record

 2014 USATF Outdoor National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championship, July 21-27, 2014, Humble, Texas- Turner High School
 1st Place, 100 Meters - 12.04
 5th Place, 200 Meters - 25.12
 1st Place, 4x 100 Relay - 59.57
 1st Place, Long Jump - 6.07 m ** set new JO/Nat. record

 Daloria Boone has been nominated by USA Track & Field as a candidate for "YOUTH ATHLETE of the YEAR." We need everyone in Georgia to support her by voting for her today.
