Kendell's recent achievements:

A
s an Association, we are so very fortunate to have an athlete as talented as Kendell Williams. We wanted to know more about her so we asked her.

  • Did you always love track and field?  Do you have another sport you excel at?  Kendell: I loved Track and Field from when I first got involved at 7 years old.  I can remember when I qualified for my first USATF Regional meet in Maryland.  My Dad and I went, and that's where I kind of got the scope of how big track was. Prior to that it had been smaller local meets and practice of course.
  •  What is a talent that no one knows you have? Kendell:  I can do a pretty mean back handspring and also sing like Whitney Houston.
  •  Who is your greatest mentor? Kendell:  My Dad. He has always been able to help me keep things in perspective.
  •  Will you use your athletic experience in your career? In what way?     Kendell: Track and Field is such a big part of my life, I don't see how it would not continue to shape my future.

Congratulations for being in our USATF GA Member Spotlight!
