You are invited to attend the USATF Georgia Association 2014 Annual Meeting on Saturday, August 23, 2014, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The event is being held at Piedmont Church Conference Center, 570 Piedmont Road, Marietta, GA 30066. 

Along with our general business meeting, there are two important items to be addressed:
  • Amendment to: Article 11 Committee Composition, B. General Provisions, 1. Term of Members,  of the Georgia Association Bylaws was not voted on at the 2013 Annual Meeting.  It was an oversight.  Because all offices commenced on November 1, the Board of Directors approved the proposed revisions to this article until the membership could assemble  to vote at the next Annual Meeting. Revision:  "Unless otherwise provided for, the term for members of all committees shall be two (2) years and shall commence November 1st of the election year". See GEORGIA BYLAWS.
  • Position of Treasurer of the Georgia Association -  The previously elected Treasurer of the Georgia Association was removed by the Board of Directors for just cause.  Former Treasurer Linda Bommicino was named interim treasurer until a new treasurer could be elected. The Association will accept nominations for Treasurer for the remaining term.  Highly qualified candidates will be considered. Please send any nominations to President Inez Finch at president@usatfga.org.

A complete agenda and annual reports will be sent out in advance of the annual meeting.
