Educational Seminar: Introduction to Race Walking
When:  Tuesday, June 24, 2014
Time:  6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Where:  Life Time Athletic - The Prado in the Education Room; 5580 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, GA 30342

Synopsis:  
Whether you're a retired runner, social or casual walker who would like to learn more about  "Race Walking", we're offering a free educational clinic and introduction to Race Walking.  You'll learn techniques, the benefits of race walking, basic training methods, clothes, shoes and 2 rules that make race walking different from running and ordinary walking.   People of all fitness levels are welcome, so bring your walking shoes, comfortable walking clothes and a friend to our race walking clinic.  This clinic will be conducted by Coach Jim Norvill, USATF Georgia Race Walk Chair.

We will also offer a shoe seminar for walkers between 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. then commence with our Race Walking Clinic.  Please note:  we will provide a second shoe seminar for runners from 6:45 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.  Food and drinks will be served.

Daniel Haugh won the discus and hammer. 
Sabrina Gaitsn won the hammer.
Robby Moots won the emerging elite hammer!
