Regional Cross Country Championships Advance Top 30 Individuals and Top 5 Teams to Nationals
Fayetteville, GA - November 23, 2013

Hundreds of Athletes participated at the Region IV XC Championships in at Heritage Christian Church in Fayetteville, GA today.  The weather was cool with a slight breeze - perfect for the many races that were contested on the leaf-strewn course.
  
Top 30 individuals and top 5 teams from the Region IV Championships qualified for the USATF National Championships at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas on December 14, 2013. More Info.

USATF Georgia Masters/LDR XC Championships
Fayetteville, GA - November 16, 2013
  
USATF Georgia Master and LDR Athletes saw fast times on a deceptively challenging 2-loop 5K course in Fayetteville, GA on November 16, 2013.. 

The event was held in conjunction with the Youth Cross Country JO Association Championships.  This event served as a great tune up race for December's USATF Club Cross Country Championship in Bend, Oregon.  A great course and perfect weather!  Results below.

USATF Membership Renewal - 2014
Single year memberships expires on December 31, 2013. Please be sure to renew your USATF Membership Logomemberships in order to continue to receive regular communications as well as all the great benefits from USATF Georgia Association in 2014.  A reminder to all Association Officers, Committee Chairs and Committee Officers - you must have a current membership to hold office.  Please renew as required by our bylaws.

Note that permanent ID numbers are being assigned to all multi-year members, new members and renewing members starting November 1, 2013.  PLEASE RENEW HERE.
  
USATF Georgia Appointments Announced
During the last Georgia Association Board of Directors Meeting, the following appointments were approved:
  • Membership Chair - Incumbent Linda Bommicino - Approved
  • Sanctions Chair - Incumbent Marlene Atwood - Approved
  • Club Registration Chair - Belinda Turner - Approved.
 If you have interest on serving on any committees, please contact President Inez Finch.  There are several opportunities available in the Bylaw Committee, Budget & Finance Committee, and other committees of the association. We are always looking for committed volunteers with great ideas!
