Kendall Williams Featured on Sam Crenshaw Show Tonight
(CH 11 Sports Extra 11:30 p.m). 

Kendall Williams will be featured on Ch. 11 tonight as Sports Reporter and Anchor Sam Crenshaw interviews her about her experience at the 2013 ESPY awards.  She will also talk about her youth career which will be coming to an end as she matriculates to the University of Georgia this fall.  Tune in tonight at 11:30 p.m.!

Tracey Russell has been Executive Director of the Atlanta Track Club for the last 6 years.  During her tenure, she has continued the tradition of promoting grassroots running in Georgia, offering signature events such as the Peachtree Road Race, the Atlanta Marathon and Half Marathon, and supporting programs that benefit the community.  Russell moves on to manage the LA Marathon in Los Angeles, CA.USATF Georgia wishes to thank Tracey Russell for her contributions during her tenure in Atlanta.
 

Reminder to Register for the Annual Meeting 
The USATF Georgia Annual Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, August 10, 2013, at the Norcross Cultural Arts Center, 10 College Street, Norcross, GA 30071 .  We anticipate that it will be a well attended meeting.  We will be electing executive officers as well as committee chairs, and presenting bylaw revisions for approval.  In order to prepare for the number of attendees, we ask that you register for the meeting:  Registration is simple and takes only a minute to do.  This will help us plan for parking, seating space, and lunch.  Please take time to register.  REGISTER HERE

The Georgia Association is pleased to provide a new service for our members.  Our website at www.usatfga.org currently features our new USATF GA Broadcast Channel.  The broadcast channel offers a contemporary look into the enormous talents of our diverse membership.

Recently Posted: "Eating Your Way to the Podium" - Interview with Al Claiborne, trainer to the stars, who did two segments on nutrition on the USATFGA internet radio show.  Discussion included negotiating nutrition in a fast food world, and getting quality sleep and using that as an added aspect of training for our athletes.
