Notice is hereby given to members of the USATF Georgia Association that disciplinary action has been administered to the Chair of the Executive Youth Committee and the Executive Youth Committee, as follows:
Censure of the Chair of the Executive Youth Committee -
The Association's Board of Directors formally censure the Chair of the Executive Youth Committee, pursuant to Article 13 of the Association Bylaws, for failure to follow local accounting policies and practices throughout her tenure as Chair; conflicts of interest in connection with the staging of a club invitational in May, 2013; and, for failure to follow the Board's directive in connection with the staging of the June 20-23, 2013 Georgia Junior Olympic Association competition.
Said censure shall take effect immediately and remain in effect throughout the current term. Any further infractions by the Chair of the Executive Youth Committee will result in immediate removal as Chair of the Executive Youth Committee.

The Association's Board of Directors formally censure the Executive Youth Committee, pursuant to Article 13 of the Association Bylaws, for its failure to follow the Board's directive in connection with the staging of the June 20-23, 2013 Georgia Junior Olympic Association competition.
Said censure shall take effect immediately and remain in effect throughout the current term. Any further infractions by the Executive Youth Committee will result in immediate removal of its members.
Background - Censure was administered to the Chair of the Executive Youth Committee and the Executive Youth Committee only after a review of facts by the Board of Directors with the Youth Chair, other members of the Association, and third parties transacting business with the Youth Chair and/or the Executive Youth Committee. Said action was taken after much consideration, and was deemed necessary to restore order to the manner in which the Chair of the Executive Youth Committee and the Executive Youth Committee conducted business on behalf of the Association. The Board concluded that business conducted by the Chair of the Executive Youth Committee and the Executive Youth Committee did not comply with local policies and practices and/or Board directives, and that such failure was not the result of negligence.
