Josh Whitener Named USATF GA Male Indoor Track Athlete of 2013  

Josh Whitener is a senior at North Paulding HS in Paulding County, GA.   He began throwing with the Throw1deep Club as a sophomore.

His 2013 Indoor Track successes include:
 

• Ranked #2 in the USA Weight Throw
• Ranked #12 in USA history Weight Throw
• Ranked #1 in Georgia Weight Throw
• Placed #1 at the Simplot games Weight Throw
• Placed 4th at New Balance Nationals Weight Throw

Josh is a great example for all Georgia athletes. Hard work and diligence defines his work ethic as evident by his athletic and academic achievements. Josh will show his Crimson pride as he will compete for Harvard University next year. All of us at USATF Georgia Association are very proud of Josh and wish him the best!
