Welcome Shannon!

We are very excited to welcome Shannon Harnett, our new Director of Fund Development!

Shannon Harnett -

Born and raised in Saskatoon, and mother of two young children, Shannon 'fell into' the fundraising profession. Shannon started her fundraising career with St. Paul's Hospital on 2005 working as the Manager of Annual Giving (events) and Major Gifts Officer.

Currently Shannon is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is working towards her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation.

Shannon loves to meet new people and learn what inspires them to give - everyone has a story to tell. For her, fundraising is more than a job, it is a privilege and a joy! Shannon is looking forward to engaging our great community and helping to make the Children's Discovery Museum a unique and dynamic facility in our city.
