The Children's Discovery Museum is open to the public at no charge from noon until 4:00 pm, courtesy of the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon.

School group visits:
During July and August we continue to reserve Mondays and Tuesdays for bookings, but will be open to the public if there are no bookings.

Please check the museum's online calendar for closures due to group bookings.

August Long:
The museum will be closed on Monday, August 3.

Play Programs in the Parks

Through July and August the Children's Discovery Museum will be bringing out our ever popular Timber Stackers to the City of Saskatoon Play Programs at various parks / playgrounds and splash pads in the City. 

Play programs are FREE and open to everyone. Click here for more information.

Map Camp for Kids - August 10-14

New this year, the Children's Discovery Museum has joined forces with Map Camp - a geography-focused day camp! 

Kids will explore mapping, GPS, environmental issues, and more through hands-on activities and outdoor adventures. 

We are also excited to be hosting the camp on Thursday, August 13, where campers will come to the museum for the day to explore mapping at the museum!

*Please note date change - the museum will host Map Camp on August 13th - prior e-news stated the 12th.

Sum Theatre - Theatre in the Park

We had a blast this year with Sum Theatre and Hercules! 

Kids created over 500 crazy hats to wearing during the performances. Thanks to everyone who participated!
