The Children's Discovery Museum is open to the public at no charge from noon until 4:00 pm, courtesy of the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon.

Upcoming in May - Growing up Green - Green Living Month
Astronomy Art Workshop

Join us to celebrate Astronomy month by creating some hands on astronomy related art work. 

April 26 - 1-3 pm - Starry Stories

Teacher, Artist and amateur astronomer Kathleen Houston will host an art and astronomy workshop. She will tell the Navaho legend, "How the stars fell into the sky". Participants will create a starry skyscape with mixed media on black paper, inspired by the Inuit legend "Holes in the night sky".

*This activity will take place on Kinsmen Free Day - no admission charge.

Collaborative Artwork from Watercolour Wonders of Space program - earlier in April.


The CDM is excited to be participating in Saskatchewan's largest Living Green Expo. Come visit us in the KidSphere area and interact with our pop-up museum and make your very own seed bombs.

Wild about Saskatoon - Nature City Festival

As part of the NatureCity Festival - presented by Wild About Saskatoon, the CDM will be hosting an event at the museum during the festival week. This program is open to the general public.

Birds in the City

May 27 - 10 & 11 am


Come and learn about what birds live in Saskatoon, learn their calls and create your very own bird nest craft!

*Program is included with general daily admission to the museum. Suitable for ages 2 and up.

Did you know
In the early days, before the museum's current location at Market Mall, the museum travelled around to events with their exhibits. One of the earliest and still very popular exhibits is the Muddy Paws Animal Clinic!
