Kinsmen Day
Kinsmen Day is Sunday, January 25: The Children's Discovery Museum is open to the public at no charge from noon until 4:00 pm, courtesy of the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon. We look forward to seeing you!

Big Ideas for the "new " Museum

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

OPEN HOUSE & COMMUNITY SESSION DATES RESCHEDULED

Sudden family circumstances are preventing our lead design consultant from travelling as planned. In light of this the Children's Discovery Museum's Open House and Community Sessions have been rescheduled.

We hope you can make it the following week on February 3rd and 4th to explore some of the "Big Ideas" for the new museum. The rescheduled dates and times are as follows:

February 3 Open House

Exploring Museum Design Alternatives

10:00 am - 8:00 pm

Scheduled presentations at 12 noon, 4:30 or 7 p.m.

At the Mendel Building, lower auditorium

February 4 Community Sessions

Exploring Museum Design Alternatives

Aboriginal 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Newcomer 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Special Needs 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Educators 4:30 pm -5:30 pm

Location for the Community Sessions to be determined.

Kids on the Block - February Programs

For the month of February Kids on the Block (Saskatchewan Association for Community Living) will be come to the museum for some extra shows and programming dealing with different types of disabilities and how it is okay to be different!

Show times:

Thursday, February 12 - 10:30 - 11:30 am

Sunday, February 22 - 1:00 - 2:00 pm

Thursday, February 26 - 10:30 - 11:30 am

Shows are included with daily admission to the museum. We will also have other sights, sounds and senses activities around the museum in February.
