Craft Supplies

The CDM is embarking on a new outreach project and we are collecting "loose parts". If you have any of the following items kicking around your home or office, we would gladly take them! Thanks!

- Eggs cartons

- Clean milk cartons

-Plastic cups / plates

-Plastic containers (yogurt, margarine etc.)

-Styrofoam cups / plates

-Bubble wrap

-Pool noodles

-Tinfoil

-Tissue paper

The Kids on the Block is a public education program that provides awareness and acceptance of disabilities and differences through the use of large puppets.

Kinsmen Day
Kinsmen Day is this Sunday, June 22nd: The Children's Discovery Museum is open to the public at no charge from noon until 4:00 pm, courtesy of the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon. We look forward to seeing you!

6th Annual Discovery Dash
Registration is now open for the 6th annual DISCOVERY DASH Saturday, July 12th, 2014 - 10am-12pm, Rotary Park Registration is $15 per child - Parents / Caregivers are free! Sum Theatre - The Pied Piper

Last summer the CDM participated in Sum Theatre's adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, making tea-cup hats and we had such as blast that we were asked to come back this summer!

Sum Theatre will be presenting their FREE Theatre in the Park again this year - The Pied Piper at 20 different parks within the city this July! The CDM will be at each performance an hour before the show with all the craft supplies needed to make your very own Rat Hat to wear at the show! We hope to see you there.

Children's Champion 2014

Child & Youth Friendly Saskatoon's 2014 Children's Champion.
