Access Program
Our Access Program aims to reduce financial barriers to our hands-on educational programming for school and preschool children, with a focus on underserved children living in our community.

Every year, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we welcome 50 sponsored classrooms from Saskatoon's Community Schools.

This program has been a huge success this fall with our available spots for school groups filling up within 24 hours of us sending out the invitation!!

We are therefore seeking additional funding to continue this great program in the winter term, and again for the 2014-2015 school year.

If you would like to make a donation or write a letter of support please contact us at
(306) 683-2555 or

Many thanks to last winter's and this fall's donors and sponsors: Volt Power Group (Wendy and Rob Kasdorf), Dakota Dunes Community Development Corporation, Community Initiatives Fund, Affinity Credit Union, SIIT, and Joe Remai.

Festival of Trees

Calling all creative minds....
This year the Children's Discovery Museum will be entering a recycled tree into the Saskatoon Festival of Trees located at the Western Development Museum
November 24 - 30, 2013.

During the month of November our tree will be available for kids (and adults) to come and decorate when they visit the museum. We will have recycled craft supplies available to make the decorations.

Our tree will then be available for viewing at the WDM during the festival. We encourage everyone to come get in the festive spirit and help decorate our tree!

*New* Construction Corner Program!

We have added to our wildly popular educational Discovery Programs! We have developed a program for our newest exhibit - Construction Corner! In this program kids get to explore two and three dimensional shapes, re-build a house, and create structures of their own! This program is suitable for pre-k to grade 3, and will be available to book starting January 2014!
