A big welcome to our newest Board Director: Christine Thompson!
While "big city Saskatoon" is now home, Christine fondly remembers her playful childhood in small town Saskatchewan. She happily balances her family, work, and volunteer roles. She is a mother of a busy toddler girl, works in the non-profit sector, and is excited to be working with the Children's Discovery Museum in its quest to foster creativity and a love of learning in children. Christine has 15 years of experience working with the non-profit, health, and academic sectors, in roles ranging from program delivery to senior leadership.

Discovery Dash
|

The fifth annual Discovery Dash
is just around the corner!!
WHEN: July 13, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHERE: Rotary Park, Saskatoon.
WHAT: Dashes, relay races, face painting, family activities, food, medals, race bibs, and more. All proceeds go to the Children's Discovery Museum and help us stay affordable and accessible to all.
COST: $15/child, parents and adult caregivers are free.
and be guaranteed a race t-shirt!

Kinsmen Day

Kinsmen Day is this Sunday, June 23: Courtesy of the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon, the Children's Discovery Museum is open to the public at no charge from noon until 4:00 pm. Why not invite a friend who hasn't been before?

We are very happy to announce that City Council received our business plan on Monday, June 10, and they share our enthusiasm for continuing to work together to build an amazing new children's museum for Saskatoon!!

Chantal will also be going out to splash parks all over the city this summer, and visiting White Buffalo Youth Lodge and the Indian and Metis Friendship Centre.
