We are very excited that Kindermusik with Kari & Friends will be offering special Saturday workshops this spring! The workshops will be the first Saturday of March, April, May and June at 10:30, and are included with regular admission. The first one is March 2. Kinsmen Kinsmen Day is Sunday, February 24. Courtesy of the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon, the Children's Discovery Museum is open to the public at no charge from noon until 4:00 p.m.

In partnership with the  Royal Astronomical Society of Canada - Saskatoon Centre and Saskatoon Public Schools, we will be kicking off International Astronomy Week on Saturday, April 13, with free public shows in STARLAB, a very cool blow-up planetarium. Stay tuned for details. We will be pre-booking shows.

Discovery  Dash

Save the date for the 5th Annual Discovery Dash! 
July 13, 2013 @ 10 a.m.
Rotary Park, Saskatoon

 

The Children's Discovery Museum's Discovery Dash is a family event, featuring kids' races, family relays, face painting, post-race snacks, medal ceremonies, and many other fun activities for kids. And it's all in support of the Children's Discovery Museum.   

 

Did you attend last year? If so, we want to hear from you! Send us a story or draw us a picture telling us why you had fun at the Dash and be entered in a draw to win a FREE registration for the 2013 event. We will be picking four random names from all submissions. Parents and kids can both enter this one! Drop off your submission at the Museum or email us at discovery@museumforkids.sk.ca to be entered. Contest closes April 15, 2013.    

 

Also, if you are looking to position your company as supportive of Saskatoon's children, their physical activity, and their developing minds, then this is the event to be at! Custom sponsorships are available and we would be happy to discuss our ideas with you.
