ST. JUDE'S MATH A THON

March means it is time for the St. Jude's Math A Thon. This year, the SCA has set a goal of $2,000 for the patients of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. On March 5, your child brought home the Math A Thon envelope and permission form. If your child wishes to participate, please detach the permission form and return it to your child's teacher by Wednesday, March 12. On the permission form, indicate if you would like a printed copy of the Funbook or if your child will use the Online Funbook. Once your child receives the Funbook, he/she may begin working on the math problems.

All money is due by Wednesday, April 9, 2014. On the envelope, you will see the variety of prizes your child may choose depending on how much money they collect. Be sure to indicate your child's prize choice if he/she has collected the specified amount.

For additional information or to follow our progress online, please visit http://fundraising.stjude.org/site/TR/Math/Math?fr_id=13363&pg=entry . Your child can register on this site. Once registered, your child will be able to access the Online Funbook from their personal page. Then you can email friends and family and begin receiving online donations! Thank you for your participation and support of St. Jude's and math.

10 Easy Ways to Make Exercise a Habit
By Leanna Skarnulis
Let's face it: it's not all that difficult to start a fitness routine. After all, most of us have done it more than once. The trouble, of course, comes with sticking with it. All too often, our initial enthusiasm and energy wanes, we get distracted by other things going on in our lives, or we don't think we're seeing results quickly enough -- and we throw in the towel.
Yet many people do manage to hang in there, and would no sooner skip their regular workout than their morning shower. What's their secret?
