PHYSICAL EDUCATION BUILDS HEALTHY BODIES
|
| 5th graders to go on Aquatic Safety Field Trip to Tuckahoe YMCA March 5th, 2014
Each year, thousands of children are involved in water-related accidents. Many of these accidents could be prevented through proper aquatic safety instruction. Knowledge of how to avoid potentially dangerous situations and what to do during an emergency will help students and their families safely enjoy a variety of lifetime aquatic activities. The 5th graders have been learning water safety information in Physical Education class. There will be a field trip to the Tuckahoe YMCA on March 5, 2014 to practice water safety.
