Something about yourself:

This is my third year teaching third grade, and I have to say, even though we stay busy and always are watching the clock, I love third graders! They really know how to ROCK!
Now, I've instructed first and second too, and I have noticed that first graders and second graders can really move and groove.
Though kindergarten, I've never taught, I love to watch their clever moves up and down the sidewalk.
Big fourth and fifth graders, many of my former students may be. They are moving on, preparing for dances and songs that don't include me.
For sure, all my students, past, present, and future, will move on to accomplish their own unique feats. But maybe, occasionally, they will think back, "When the school bell rings, and the day begins..." and remember those happy beats on Pinchbeck Street.

SCIENCE FAIR - RESCHEDULED
Thank you for your continued patience.  We have decided to postpone the science fair until Friday, February 7th.  The tables and gym do not need to be set up until Thursday, February 6th after school. Unfortunately, February 7th is the date of the Benchmarks for the 4th graders.  While they will still be able to tour the fair, this means I will lose all the 4th grade volunteers for the demonstrations.  I would greatly appreciate more parent volunteers to help cover these slots.  The Sign Up form is below:

Also, I had many parents volunteering to be tour guides.  I don't know if you will still be available Friday.  So if you need to remove your name or swap times or, if you haven't signed up, but are now available to help, please use the Sign Up form below

ANNUAL PTA PASTA DINNER/BOOK FAIR KICKOFF
Are you looking for some fun family entertainment? Please join us in the cafeteria on Friday, Feb. 21st to watch Magician Joe Romano, who is back by popular demand! Enjoy homemade pastas, salads, bread, refreshments and dessert during the show and take some time to browse and buy at the PTA Book Fair taking place that night in the gym. The cost for the dinner will be $4 for adults and $2 for children with a family maximum of $15. Now that is value for your dollar!

Do you love to cook or want to support your PTA? We are in need of food donations for this event. If you can donate pasta, salad, bread or dessert for this event, please click here:

Don't forget to stop by the gym to check out our PTA Fiesta Book Fair. It takes many volunteers to put on our Book Fair. If you are able to help, please click here to volunteer:

The PTA Book Fair is an excellent way to earn money for our school and our library, while promoting books and reading with your children. We look forward to seeing you all
at the kickoff, February 21st!
