The PTA would like to thank everyone who participated in our International Festival earlier this month - Marie Hess and Shannon Donovan did a wonderful job organizing the event and we appreciated and enjoyed all of the delicious food, beautiful posters, dances, and singing from the families who attended.  Thanks to all for such a fun night!

The PTA would also like to congratulate the teachers who have been awarded funding from the PTA Spring Teacher Grant:

1.       Mrs. Donovan will be receiving four iPad minis, cases, and Apple Care for use in her ESL classroom

2.       Mrs. Davis received funding for ESL Reading Kits to benefit ESL students within the classroom for grades K-5

3.       Mrs. Davis also received funding for Blue Star Nonfiction-Fiction Paired Passages Kit to benefit Grade 2-5

Thanks to all our teachers who applied for both the Fall and the Spring Grants.  We are thrilled to have been able to provide $7,500.00 in funding to be used for our students and their classrooms during THIS school year.  This generosity would not have been possible without the support of our wonderful PES families - thanks for all that you do!

Collecting Bags of Pretzels 

The Rays Reaching Out will be collecting bags of pretzels for Mrs. Clayton's Cupboard, a pantry created to provide healthy snacks for Pinchbeck students who would otherwise go without. We are low on supplies and could use your support. Please put your pretzels in the donation containers located in the cafeteria entryway.  Thank you!

The Virginia PTA is proud to partner with the Virginia Lottery and The Supply Room Companies for the 7^th annual Super Teacher Awards. Nominations will be accepted from anyone 18 and older through Friday, February 14. We know Pinchbeck has amazing educators who go the extra mile each and every day. Please tell the Virginia PTA all about them! Eight teachers from across the state will win $2,000 cash from the Virginia Lottery and a $2,000 classroom supply credit from The Supply Room Companies.
