The risks of green building
green building I think most of us in the HVAC industry see green building as a positive thing. It's good for business and the planet. But not every industry agrees. Here's an example of that.

Under the dome
dome house

How about this house? I think it's a shame we can't make it spin faster. WEEEE!

The scary side of Nest
Nest hack Here's a story about what a smart hacker can do to a Nest thermostat. Sort of makes you long for that dopey T-87, doesn't it?
Delightful physics
coffee can in ceiling Several more reasons why the Japanese are so much fun. When it comes to teaching science they sure do know how to get our attention. Imagine what they could do with a tank of propane.
Peerless Banner
Nothing to do with heating
tiptoptap This new product makes me wonder whatever happened to parents? Aren't they supposed to teach the kid how to do this? Be sure to watch the video. If I had to listen to that dopey voice every day I'm pretty sure I'd be reaching for a wrench.
Revolving doors revealed
revolving doors

We recently introduced our four-year-old grandson, Sully, to revolving doors. He was delighted with the whole concept and wondered why his uncle, Drew, kept going around and around. I like to go through them clockwise. You ever try that? It's a great way to meet people. Here's more about those doors. Probably more than you need to know, but I couldn't resist.

A river runs through it
Scotland So why not use it to heat some buildings? It's nice to see that the folks in Scotland are trying to keep up with the folks in Scandinavia. And good luck with that.
Hug your kids.
