Nest and Mercedes get together
Nest The two companies are working together on a way to have the fancy car talk to the new thermostat so that when the driver is heading home, the thermostat will adjust the temperature accordingly. You also need a smartphone to make this happen. Honeywell's new Lyric thermostat is doing the same thing, but with just the smartphones. I'm trying to figure out why the car has to get involved in this. Is it just one of those Mercedes things? Here's the story

Heidi sent this after I shared that article a few weeks back about how the funeral directors in New Orleans are now posing some of their clients in lifelike positions. I think this one tops them all, though. Talk about going out in style!
