It's A Wonderful Life
It's a Wonderful Life There are days when everything just comes together. Here's a story about one of those days. This one involved that wonderful, holiday film, and the inventor of vacuum heating. Merry Christmas!

And it has radiant heat!
shanty
Unlike the real hovels of the world, this one has heated floors and more. Would you stay in this place? This one has me scratching my head in wonder.
Give us a hug!
hot vs cold workers It seems that hugs, warm showers, baths, thermostats that do what they're supposed to do, and balanced HVAC systems all lead to happier, more-productive people. Isn't that something you just want to rush out and tell people about? Me too. But first read all about it here.
Cold? Wait two weeks
Manchester cathedral I can understand this. You don't get a radiantly heated cathedral warm overnight so I'm glad they're taking their time. Here's the backstory.

So try to imagine this
old check There once was a time in the United States of America when the President of the United States paid the coal bills for the White House by writing a check to the coal company. Here's proof. And to make this even more delicious, you should know that the White House was one of the first buildings in the U.S. to have steam heat. I wonder who did the service. Oh, and don't bother calling to ask if you can explore. It's long gone.
Gangsta Santa
Ice Wise Santa The U.K.'s United Utilities came up with this fun video to teach safety and savings. It's getting lots of news coverage over there. Ah, marketing!
Nothing to do with heating
But everything to do with children. And what better time of year to read this. Thanks to my daughter, Erin, for sharing it. Seems like yesterday, honey.

Hug your kids.
