Unusual ways to heat a room
I came across two good ones, both from the U.K., where many people have to choose between heating and eating. The first method I'm going to try. The second idea I'm going to give a miss, but it is fun, and certainly timely for the season.

Another university says no to coal
This time it's Purdue. Coal is still cheaper than natural gas just about everywhere, but read this and consider the other factors that are affecting their decision. Ever think you'd be seeing this in that part of the U.S.?

Why we don't see more of those Euro radiators

In the wind
Subscriber, Dan Gardiner, shared this one with me. The implications of this decision are enormous. I don't know the legal process in the U.K. and whether this will be appealed (any U.K. subscribers please feel free to write me), but there's huge money at stake with this one. Stay tuned. And thanks, Dan!
