Buildings that breathe
Thanks to my long-time, French friend, Egard Benedetti, for sending me this fascinating video. It really made me think, which is quite unsettling.

Like charts and graphs?
This article is loaded with them, along with some eyebrow-raising remarks. Seems like chasing energy-efficiency truly is the way to go in the U.S. I'd love to hear your thoughts about that. And let's hope that some of those charts and graphs don't wind up in someone's PowerPoint presentation. Zzzzzzz.

More energy-efficiency
In a plant this time. I love simple solutions. They're often the best. As my mother always said (screamed, actually), CLOSE THE DOOR! Or, I suppose, put up fabric-curtain walls when you can't. She never actually said that, but you know what I mean.

Know beforehand
Good story here about a new Web-based software that can analyze a building's efficiency during the design stage. Makes sense to me. You?

Nothing to do with heating
But a lot to do with LEED. My two questions: Is LEED going to get in trouble over this? And where the heck is the beer? Thanks to Erin Holohan Haskell for being fun and brilliant.
