Boiler Lessons
My friend, Ray Wohlfarth, will be doing some commercial boiler seminars and I wanted to give you a heads-up about them. This guy knows boilers and is a terrific teacher. I love his stories. Check out the schedule here.

Speaking of seminars
I'm going to stop doing seminars come January 2016 when I turn 66. I'll still be writing (good Lord willing) but I'm going to stop traveling, other than going to various beaches with The Lovely Marianne. I'll probably do about 50 more seminars during the upcoming 26 months, some of which are already set. If your group would like me to do one for you before I shut up, please get in touch. Thanks.

ikea IKEA, one of the greenest companies in the world, has decided to sell solar-PV panels to anyone in the UK who wants to buy them, and as the article explains, there is no assembly required. Well, except for installing them on the roof and tying them into the electrical system of the house, of course, and possibly the national grid. It should make for some interesting DIY projects.
Who's in charge?
The man or the woman? I mean when it comes to running the boiler. Or not. Find the answer here. Best line in the article: "Over a third of couples said they were like chalk and cheese when it comes to heating, with one of them usually being too hot or too cold compared with the other." Chalk and cheese? Gotta look that up.

And pretty quickly according to this article. Sometimes you have to go to Pakistan to find out what's going on in China. Whew! I'm exhausted.

The geniuses at MIT are still at it. Look at what they're up to this time. Who the heck thinks of this stuff?! Leaping droplets? I am soooooo intimidated.

Subscriber, Dale McLaughlin, wrote to tell me about the boiler he oversees in Millinocket Regional Hospital up in Maine. It's a grand story and if you watch the video in the article you can sense the pride that Dale has in what he does. I wish he lived next door. But that's a long commute.
Hug your kids.
