Brit stats
Some interesting numbers from the U.K. about what's been going on over there in recent years. Lots of schemes (I love that word!) at work over there. Note, too, the focus on insulation.

Some insight into what's going on in the U.K. with solar thermal, which isn't much. Ahh, where would we all be without help from our governments?

And despite all the help
There's this. I suppose when human nature kicks in, all bets are off. Yes, we know how to save energy, but we can't afford to do so. So there. And, yes, we know about energy efficiency, but we're just not motivated. And could you hand me the remote while you're up? Oh, well.

Making the invisible visible
Good PDF here about how those in the business of selling houses can show the value of energy-efficiency improvement. It's deliciously detailed and just might make you think. Made me think (an event that can be quite unsettling).

CO never sleeps
And neither does our friend Robert O'Brien. He just shared this link to a very scary story about how CO can move right though gypsum wallboard. To which all I can say is Yikes!

Nothing to do with heating
Boiler Guru, Ray Wohlfarth, sent me a video of something that just may change the world as we know it. And delightfully discovered by accident! How's that for an intriguing way of getting you to click?
