A dozen whimsical radiators
unique radiator One of the neat things about hydronics is you get to have stuff like this (assuming you have the money). Have fun out there!

A new tool from DOE
DOE website The Department of Energy recently launched this new site and it's filled with lots of interesting guides and case studies. Is this useful to you? Let me know.

Biomas and solar-thermal come together
biomass solar plant Check out this new power plant in Spain. Want to go on a field trip?

Embarrassing?
Holland, MI Subscriber, Robert O'Brien, sent me this story and the first thing I thought was that I'm glad I wasn't the guy who sold this system. And then I wondered why no one considered that the temperature might go below 20 degrees in Holland, Michigan during January.
Seriously? Vesuvius?
mt vesuvius I once roamed through Pompeii and Herculaneum and looked warily at Mount Vesuvius, which is just over there. Then I hung out in Naples for a while, still looking at that huge beast on the horizon. I don't think I'd mess with that mountain, but that's what the Neapolitans are planning.
Nothing to do with heating
camouflage house Unless you're trying to heat these houses, that is. Or this house. Probably best if you mind your own business here, eh? Thanks to that great boiler guy, Ray Wohlfarth, for sharing!
"For a freakin' thermostat"
nest thermostat That line from one of the speakers in this video cracked me up. Ah, the power of Apple sauce! Who says heating isn't exciting?

Hug your kids.
