Some weeks back, I told you how stored wood pellets release lots of carbon monoxide. This video tells the story far better than I can. I think we'll be seeing more and more wood pellets in the days ahead. Be careful.

Subscriber, Terry Tekushan, shared this story with us. I wonder how much it costs to operate the pressure cooker, and if that cost offsets the savings offered by the bricks. This is, however, a different way to get rid of those autumn leaves.

Nice savings
It's good to see people are taking the time to track the savings on the improvements made to these government buildings. And it's interesting to note what a difference controls and keeping an eye on waste steam can make. Here's the article.

I love this story from George Washington University. My favorite part is, "Daniel Edwards, a junior living in City Hall, said students' 'incentive is gone' because they don't pay monthly utilities bills and therefore don't care about saving energy and water.'" Hey, just like living at home!
