The power of hot bodies
green globe I've been following this technology for a couple of years and I mention it at a seminar I call The World of Green Heating. This article gives a lot of delicious details about these new body-heat systems. I think you'll enjoy it.

More on wood
wood pellets I've been thinking about how the U.S. has become the world's largest exporter of wood pellets. More and more, folks are looking at this natural resource as the answer to many of our problems. Which brings me to this story

And some dollars
wood stove Massachusetts is taking a more-active role in getting folks (particularly those in need) high-efficiency wood stoves. They're giving away $100,000 to start and who knows where they'll go from there. Hey, it's Massachusetts! Here are the details
Pittsburgh's new breathing building
pittsburgh building I've seen similar ventilating designs go into European buildings and it's nice to see this thinking coming to America. Pittsburgh already has a wonderful skyline and this new addition will only add to that picture as it (hopefully) inspires a lot of people to think in new ways.
Nothing to do with heating
clock But if you're a fan of Steampunk, it's certainly worth a watch (a clock, actually). Wouldn't you just love to have a beer with the person who built this beautiful machine
Apple in the wind
apple system Looks like Apple is branching out into iWind. Check out this story about what they're patenting now. I'll bet they power an Apple store with one of these before too long.

America's greenest schools
green school And then there's this link to a nice photo tour of some unusual schools, with a brief explanation of what makes each the greenest. Enjoy!
