Since international trade of Cocobolo would now require a specific export/import permit, prices will increase as a result of a decrease in supply, higher costs and an increase in demand.
How will this affect Domestic sales of Cocobolo?Supplies of Cocobolo are already very low and will be especially limited after June 12th if listed on CITES. We highly recommend
placing all orders for Cocobolo before the proposed cut-off date to avoid any issues with available stock.

Cocobolo future outlook at T.E.H
As our primary imported species for over 40 years, we will be doing everything possible to import Cocobolo within the CITES guidelines after June 12th. This would allow us to continue to supply high quality wood while still helping to maintain the sustainability of the species for future generations.
