Jack's Marathon Team - Chicago
Our marathoners connect closely with those who battle cancer and often are battling the disease themselves. 

A son remembering his father, a fianc� running in memory of her boyfriend, friends missing friends, and a team captain praying for all of us.

Running for a cause is their way of making a difference. 

We are proud of each and every one and wish them great success as they take to the streets of Chicago
on October 12th.

 WHY WE RUN: The TEAM SHARES WHAT MOTIVATES AND INSPIRES THEM.

After training for months through cold, rain, heat and injury ... it's now only days away.  Sunday, October 12, our athletes take to the streets of Chicago, running a course lined with 1.7 million people and looping through 29 neighborhoods -- fighting melanoma every step of the way. 

Your support of their efforts is very much appreciated.

All are welcome. Join us again at the corner of Adams and Des Plaines to cheer for our team. This is a block west of the halfway point (13.1 miles) of the marathon, so the team will be looking for our support as they tackle the next 13.

Look for the Angel Shoe Balloons!

Stop by to say hi and pick up some sunscreen, a bell or a UV wrist band.  Yes ... it turns blue when exposed to UV rays. 
We look forward to meeting our marathoners and their families this weekend at the Jack's Fund Booth (#950), right next to the ASICS display -- Our friend Deena Kastor will be there signing autographs.  Special thanks to our volunteers and the Oncology Nursing Society/Chicago for their on-going support.
