STEVE LUTZ, Jack's Marathon Team Captain
To honor Jack's 10 year passing, this year I will run with one of his old marathon bibs from Chicago. This one is all about Jack!  Jack always said that he was "GOING TO BEAT THIS THING"!  Help me to keep Jack's fight going in "BEATING THIS THING"!!!
I will be running my first marathon in memory of my best friend, Lindsay Rogers Datema - she was 30 years old.

Brandon Thorpe (JMT-Chi)
Sally's Smile - I wanted to live with that determination that she so eloquently demonstrated with each step of that race. A few months after the race, the cancer continued its course, and sadly, Sally passed away.
Terri Wilson (JMT-Chi)
Running with my heart; hoping my legs will follow. Reflecting on the way my dad lived his life has motivated me to take on something positive and try to give back as he did so freely.
Lindsey Richardson (JMT-Chi)
I run for my boyfriend as my last promise to him.  David was 27.
Jenna Ryan (JMT-Chi)

My Dad, Jim Ryan, was known and loved by every person he met.

He was larger than life in every way.
