RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS

Thank you for signing up to participate in the "Dollar a Week Club" ministry. This past Sunday we had approximately 50 people enroll in the ministry and the first week gifts were $164! I believe that participation in this project will grow. However, if we were to receive this same amount each of the next 11 weeks....that means that FBCD will have $2000 to perform random acts of kindness with on TAX DAY...April 15. Imagine 100 lives being touched in one day by a random act of kindness: a free tank of gas, groceries being paid for by a stranger, or a multitude of possibilities. Talk this up among your circle of influence and lets see how many people we can get involved in this endeavor. #withduluth
SOUPER BOWL

It's great to see the statistics of how our Food Pantry has been #withDuluth throughout the year by providing much needed services to our community. During 2015, the FBCD Food Pantry served 490 families for a total of 2,333 people. These families received much needed bags of groceries, along with encouragement and support. As we approach the Souper Bowl opportunity to restock our food pantry, it is important to realize the eternal significance that this ministry provides to community families. Continue to pray that lives will be touched through these efforts! There are also always opportunities for you to serve on Tuesdays or Thursdays to meet with families or fill grocery sacks.

PRAY FOR ME RALLY

What a blessing is was to see so many prayer champions gathered together with the next generation, for the purpose of celebrating the power of prayer!

Testimonies were shared as 165 folks gathered together over lunch and fellowship.  As FBCD rallies around our next generation, we are giving every young person support and God's protection as they become our future leaders.

Here's a few pictures from last week's gathering.  This is a beautiful example of the church!
