AddressBC GeoShare Updates  

ICIS Operations has been successfully working with many  Local Government members to integrate  their address points into the AddressBC database using the GeoShare tool.  
ICIS Standards for Survey Data Now Available  

The ICIS Standards for Survey Data is now accessible to members in order to assist with data uploads to the updated ICIS Data Portal. Please click on the link below to access the current survey standards.

ICIS Utilizes Street Address Table to Accommodate Variations in Street Type  

ICIS has been working hard to accumulate addresses for inclusion in the AddressBC database by utilizing the GeoShare tool for address submissions. This is great news for ICIS members, as submitting addresses via GeoShare is now easier than ever.  Read more...

Brad Hlasny, ICIS Membership Committee member and Provincial Representative

Brad Hlasny became the Manager of the Base Mapping & Cadastre Section of GeoBC on April 1, 2008. His team is responsible for delivering the foundational digital maps and data that support the Province of British Columbia's provisioning of cost effective, timely, accurate and relevant land and resource information services to British Columbians. ICIS (Integrated Cadastral Information Society) is a non profit organization dedicated to the "collaborative sharing and integration of spatial data for the economic and social benefit of British Columbia."

 

Members of ICIS include Provincial Government Ministries, Crown Corporations, Local and Regional Governments, First Nations, and major Utility companies in BC.
