"We Will Not Bow" - John MacArthur
The two greatest attacks of terror on America were perpetrated by the Supreme Court.

The first one was the legalizing of abortion. Subsequent to that, there have been millions of babies slaughtered in the wombs of their mothers. It's incalculable to even comprehend that. The blood of those lives cries out from the ground for divine vengeance on this nation.

The second great act of terror perpetrated by the Supreme Court was the legalization of same-sex marriage. The destruction of human life in the womb-in a sense, the destruction of motherhood-and now the destruction of the family itself. No bomb, no explosion, no attack, and no assault on people physically can come anywhere near that kind of terrorism. Our country is being terrorized by the people most responsible to protect it-those who are to uphold the law.

No human court has the authority to redefine morality. But this human court has said murder is not murder; and marriage is not marriage; and family is not family.

They have usurped the authority that belongs only to God, who is the creator of life, marriage, and family. Any and all attempts to define morality differently than God has is a form of rebellion and blasphemy-blasphemy against God, against His holy nature, His holy law, and His holy people. Transgender Identity - Wishing Away God's Design
Genesis 1:27 says God made them "male and female." No matter how hard some people try, they can't wish away this fundamental physical reality-and that's a good thing.

"When you wish upon a star,
Makes no difference who you are; Anything your heart desires Will come to you."

In the 1940 film Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket sang those famous lyrics to a woeful little wooden boy who wanted to become something different. The tale is touching. In our day, however, people no longer apply such inspirational messages in traditional ways. "Anything your heart desires" has been hijacked.

In ways that Walt Disney could not imagine, such slogans now inspire people to surgically remake themselves. Witness the spread of "transgender" identity, in which men seek to become women and women seek to become men. In 2015, this is no extraordinary occurrence. It is an increasing trend and a major worldview challenge to the Christian church. READ MORE
Three Great New Books for Men
Designed for Joy: How the Gospel Impacts Men and Women, Identity and Practice by Owen Strachan, Jonathan Parnell and Denny Burk - Designed for Joy argues that God created men and women different for a purpose: to complement one another as image bearers of God. It is filled with biblical wisdom and sound advice and a compelling vision for Christian manhood and womanhood from fourteen young male leaders. Whether discussing the significance of gender, the truth about masculinity and femininity, the blessing of purity, or the challenge of raising children in a confusing world, this practical resource challenges us to embrace God's good design-for his glory and our joy. HERE

Engaging the Culture without Losing the  Gospel by Russell Moore - Onward is a bold, call for Christian social engagement in a post-Christian culture. Dr. Moore argues we are, on our best days, a prophetic minority, rooted in the gospel of the kingdom speaking truth and grace into this culture. This minority status doesn't mean siege mentality but gives us an unique opportunity to toss aside some baggage of our past that never reflected the gospel in the first place. Moore reminds us that we are not ambassadors of "traditional values" but stewards of the mystery of the gospel. Moores argues that the kingdom of God should set our priorities, that the kingdom should reorient the cultures of our local congregations to speak to the outside world with a distinctively Christian vision of human dignity, religious liberty, and family integrity. - HERE  Check Out 20 Key Quotes HERE

The Colson Way: Loving Your Neighbor and Living  with Faith in a Hostile World by Owen Strachan - This just-released book is about the life and legacy of the late Chuck Colson, one of the most prominent evangelicals of our time. He dedicated himself to public witness in the mold of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and William Wilberforce, creating and leading efforts such as Prison Fellowship, Angel Tree, Breakpoint, and the Centurions program. Chuck worked tirelessly on behalf of humanity because he believed that all people needed help to flourish in the light of the gospel. He knew the importance of working practically to advance truth and justice in public. And he knew that to be courageous and to speak and act courageously in line with Scripture. Chuck Colson's life reveals there is no division between truth and love, between embracing biblical guidance and loving our neighbor. The Colson Way uses the legacy and wisdom of Colson to show Christians a way of living in a public square increasingly hostile to evangelical conviction.
