Remember Mom Sunday!

Why Does She Get a Day?
She wiped your runny nose, cheered for your team, and cleaned up all your abandoned messes. Shes a nurse, a coach, a teacher, and a cook. Shes under-appreciated and overworked. Shes your mom. Check out this video clip from the Skit Guys about how Tommy gives Eddie a subtle reminder of why we celebrate Mothers Day. HERE

All About a Number

Men, don't let this guy's story end up being yours too. Life in Christ is never, ever about a number. It's always about something bigger, better, more glorious than the fleeting pleasures of this world.

The Case for Traditional Marriage
As the Supreme Court hears oral arguments in DeBoer v. Snyder, it's worth asking the question: Is there any reason a decent, rational, non-bigoted American might oppose same-sex marriage? Just as important: Are there any decent, rational, non-bigoted Americans who are willing to consider why other Americans might have plausible reasons for opposing same-sex marriage? This blog post is my way of saying "yes" to the first question and "let's hope so" to the second. READ MORE

"If we don't initiate our boys (into manhood), they will burn down the village to feel the heat." - African Proverb

"In a world of spiritual eunuchs, it is good to find a man who is more than simply male."  - Douglas Wilson. Reforming Marriage

"Our calling is not just to "go to heaven" but also to cultivate the earth, not just to "save souls" but also to serve God through our work. For God himself is engaged not only in the work of salvation but also in the work of preserving and developing His creation. Important Discipleship Ideas
The following is from our friend Pat Morley who offers keen insight into our mission to make disciples as we ourselves are being discipled.

"To be a disciple of Jesus is the highest honor to which a man can aspire. Making disciples is God's designated way to release the power of His gospel on every problem we face. Undiscipled believers will almost always become lukewarm in faith, worldly in behavior, and hypocritical in witness. However we got ourselves into the current situation, the only solution is to disciple our way out. READ MORE
16 Years Strong and Moving Forward
Men, we are continuously grateful for so many of you who pray for us, support us and give us constructive feedback. After 16 years of serving the churches in this region and beyond. we remain a non-denominational, gospel-centered, non-profit and all-volunteer ministry committed to Kingdom work that glorifies God and benefits men in a passionate pursuit of God and in their walking daily in the freedom of his gospel.
