Stunt Driving Edition by Dude Perfect
Check out the latest trick-shot extravaganza from Dude Perfect. This is no low-budget DIY video project, and unless you've got a few willing professional stunt-driver buddies and access to a vacant airfield, we doubt you'll be trying any of these stunts at home.
It might have taken these guys a zillion takes to capture these epic shots - especially the air-traffic control tower basketball shot or the slingshot - but we're still totally impressed. This is not CGI, computer-generated, but guys doing their thing in real time.

Why the Manhood Crisis in Culture and Church?
One of the significant scriptures for men is Acts 16:13 where God commands us to "...act like men". Yet we live in the first generation in history that is confused about what that means. When men are confused about their manhood, then they'll also be confused about being a husband and father. Thus the crisis is compounded into marriage and fatherhood.
Lifeway's Ed Stetzer recently interviewed pastor and author Eric Mason about this crisis, what real manhood is and Mason's new book Manhood: Restored, one of our mostly highly recommended resources for you, your small group or men's ministry. Check out this wide ranging video and be equipped and encouraged. Click the clip on the right or go online HERE

Life Without Limbs
Nick Vujicic is a thirty-year old Serbian Australian evangelist and motivational speaker born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of all four limbs. Nick, who is the author of Life Without Limits, says, "I won't pretend my life is easy, but through the love of my parents, loved ones, and faith in God, I have overcome my adversity and my life is now filled with joy and purpose. I reside now in California with my wife, Kanae, and we both love seeing people's lives changed for the better or touched in some way. It is my hope that your life is positively impacted by my story". Kerry Shook, Senior Pastor of Woodlands Church in The Woodlands, TX recently interviewed Nick. Click the video on the right or go online HERE

A Final Word: Where Do You Get Your Identity?
"Just in case you're unaware, identity theft occurs when someone steals your name and other personal information for fraudulent use. Most of us are dismayed by this new cyber-age crime, and we wouldn't assume that the theft of another person's identity is acceptable behavior. The surprising reality, however, is that Christian's are, by definition, people who have someone else's identity. They're called "Christians" because they've taken the identity of someone else: the Christ. Not only have you been given an identity that you weren't born with or that you didn't earn the right to use, but you're invited to empty the checking account and use all the benefits this identity brings! This is so much better than identity theft - it's an identity gift!" - Elyse Fitzpatrick, "Because He Loves Me: How Christ Transforms Our Daily Life" |
