SPECIAL NEWS BULLETIN UPDATES
Prayer Requests for this week:

Enock Guerrier  (Living Water International) had a stroke, but is now home, recuperating well.  Please continue to pray for Enock and Jasmine his wife, along with his congregation.

Hans Ruska (Chaplain) is being redirected from a term of duty in Afghanistan to Africa to help deal with the Ebola situation.  Thank you for your prayers on his behalf.

Please continue to pray for Joe Ward and the South Carroll Church in the loss of Ann Ward.
Joe reports: "I really need to request that people would support me in prayer for rest. I do not sleep at night and I have no energy and everything is very hard to do. Please ask God to bless me with His presence and His rest."

Pray also for Nancy Flowers in the loss of Roy Flowers.   The family continues to need our prayers and encouragement in these days.

Ongoing Prayer Needs

Please pray for Martha Buchanan (Paul Buchanan's sister).  Martha is being treated for stage 4 abdominal cancer. She lives in Illinois.  Paul is our lead pastor at Mt Airy, MD New Beginning.
Latest Update:
Since Martha was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in October of 2012 she has had one round of chemo treatments.  The second round of chemo was halted in July because of the adverse side affects.  The goal was to stop the spread of cancer in her abdomen, reduce the size of the tumor and perhaps have surgery to remove it.  She will be visiting a surgeon in Indianapolis to determine the plan forward and see if surgery is a good option. She remains positive and is not in much pain.  The prayers of the Mid-Atlantic are greatly appreciated.

Many have been praying for Diana Loar's son Wesley.
Here is an update from Diana:

I am giving a praise report.  Wesley had an MRI done on Thursday for his check up on Monday.  The doctor was surprised when he compared the MRI with the last one that had been done.  The tumor, which has been there for at least 16 years, has shrunk some.  Praise the Lord!  The cyst is still
on the optical nerve, so he still can't see correctly. However, we praise God for His continual healing hand upon him.  We thank our district family for praying for him, and please continue to pray for complete healing.  Wesley says, "Stay tuned, He's still workin' on me!"
