Letter from the Executive Director
| Dear Friends and Supporters, You've all heard that "location, location, location" are the top three things to look for when shopping for a home. Pathways to Wellness is only $20,000 away from being able to build our new home at 35 W. Newton Street, just a block away from our current location. Our building permit has been issued, and we need these final $$$ in hand by August 30th in order to build out this beautiful space. Without the funds, we'll lose this ideal location, and risk not being able to stay in the South End. Can you help us with this important project? We need the funds quickly - by the end of August, or our "location, location, location" will go to another organization. "Endow a Leaf" for our mural wall for a donation of $1,000, $500 or $250, and be recognized or honor a loved one with an engraved gold, silver or bronze leaf. Larger donors may have naming rights to rooms and important parts of the new clinic. Any amount is welcome, and you will join a host of proud donors and sponsors who have already stepped up to support this project. Our new location will allow Pathways to expand its mission of reducing disparities in health care by providing free and low cost holistic care to medically and economically vulnerable clients, AND it will allow us to become more financially self-sufficient by increasing our ability to attract clients who can afford to pay market rates for our high quality clinical services. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this project. Please help us finish this by the end of August-- click here to make a donation and show your support for Pathways. In health, Demie Stathoplos Executive Director P.S. If you'd like to Endow a Leaf, click here to download the order form or contact me directly at 617-859-3036, ext 270. |

Another Acupuncture House Party Success!

After the community dinner, Pathways ED Demie Stathoplos spoke briefly about Pathways' mission, and Research Director and Acupuncturist Beth Sommers demonstrated acupuncture for the guests.
Acupuncture house parties are unique ways to introduce your circle of friends and family to the benefits of acupuncture, while learning about a great cause. If you are interested in learning more about hosting an acupuncture house party, contact Demie at 617-859-3036 x270.

Thanks to our Volunteers and Interns!

Pathways is fortunate to be assisted by ten volunteers and summer interns from a variety of schools. These folks help us get important work done - tracking and recording data that allows us to measure clinical and client satisfaction outcomes, keeping our insurance authorizations up to date, and managing the many paper flows that allow Pathways to serve our clients.
Many thanks and appreciation to: Michael Kang, Hannah Parrish, Emily O'Day, Ester Lee, Deborah Engler, Wen Li, Aelish Sullivan, Run Feng, Alfred Duhamel, and Karina Lo.

Thank You for Sharing the Care
| |
With your help we're able to provide free acupuncture for people with HIV/AIDS and for military veterans, and low-cost care to many others who otherwise could not afford it.
The cost of your full-price treatments helps pay for someone less fortunate. We also rely on donations to ensure that no one is denied our care.
Please Share the Care by making a donation to help others who need our services. Thank You!
