LeBARRE TRAINING COMING in SEPTEMBER

 

LeBARRE is a workout like no other! It incorporates the hottest trend in dance-inspired conditioning, ballet barre training, and the LeBert Equalizer to create a workout suitable for every level of exerciser,

 

This workout also combines Balance, Agility, and Resistance, working all into a challenging and full body workout. No dance experience or pink tights required! No muscle will go untouched in this challenging, full-body workout! 

Classes will begin in September.

Studio 1  -  The NEW main group ex room, will include such classes as SWEAT!, Zumba, Turbo Kick, Power Toning, Boot Camp, Yoga, Triple Play, Senior Strong, and Tai Chi

 

Studio 2  -  Cycling studio, with 30 NEW Lifecycle GX Cycles.   

 

Studio 3 -  TRX, Kettlebells, Pilates Reformers, LeBarre

Aquatics - Hydro-tone, Aquaticize, Aqua Pump, Aqua Zumba, Aqua Arthiritis, Aqua Pi-Yo-Chi, and swim lessons.

PT CLIENT OF THE MONTH - PAM LOCH

 

1)  How long have you been a client?

     I started personal training sessions in May 2012, about 14 months.

2) Why did you decide to hire a personal trainer?

     Using a personal trainer provides me with the regimen and discipline that I would not have on my own

3)  What were your initial goals? Why did you start a personal training program?

     I wanted to remain fit and flexible as I aged.

4) What has been your biggest fitness accomplishment?

      I am so much stronger - my Pilates instructor has even commented on the improvement?

5)  What advice would you give to someone considering personal training?

     What are you waiting for?

6)  What is your favorite thing about your trainer?

      I end my sessions feeling that I have really accomplished something because Jason always encourages me to work just a little harder than I think I can.

7)  What is your next fitness goal?

      My goal is still the same to remain fit and flexible as I age.

8)  In a sentence or two, tell us about your overall training as a client.

    I really enjoy my training sessions.  It is like working out with a friend but this friend keeps you focused on your workout so you actually improve!

 

Pam is a hard worker and is always willing to try new things.  Each session she brings positive energy and is willing to push herself.  She is committed to her overall health and wellness, as she participates weekly in Personal Training, yoga, and Pilates.  Keep it up, Pam; we will get you to do that push-up!

MEMBER OF THE MONTH : JOANN LESTER

 

Joann Lester is a retired kindergarten/third grade teacher of 33 years from the Whitehall-Coplay School District.  She joined the gym in July 2007 to help combat severe spinal stenosis & arthritic pain.  The pools, as well as motivation from her husband Ed, attracted her to Steel Fitness Premier.  She attends the gym 3 times per week and works out for 2.5 hours!  Her workouts include 30 minutes of cardio, weightlifting, stretching, foam rolling, and chasing her husband around the center (she's watching you, Ed!)  She also occasionally attends an aquatics class.  Her goals include building muscle, following her gastric bypass weight loss of 235 pounds, and strengthening her knees and spine to combat symptoms of osteoarthritis.  Joann is dedicated to working out, having also joined a fitness center in Philadelphia while going through radiation treatments.  Keep up the hard work, Joann!
