Did you know?
Poor diet is now the #1 risk factor for health loss?
"For the first time ever the Centers for Disease Control has named Dietary Risk the number one risk factor for health loss in the United States. When additional risk factors that also have poor diet as a cause (such as high cholesterol and high blood sugar) are included, the number of deaths that could have been prevented with a healthier diet climbs to 1,857,029 annually - 4 times as many as smoking, the next highest risk factor." ~ excerpt from the Ceres Community Project website.
We relish playing a role in building health and wellness in our neighborhood. Vibrancy in our community is vital to our well-being. This is why we are celebrating our partnership with the Ceres Community Project which means so much to all of us at Osmosis because of the big difference they are making in many people's lives; setting teens on a life time path of nutritional awareness and healthful dietary habits and gifting wholesome lovingly prepared food to people in health crises.
We feel especially honored and privileged to be offering this very consciously made food to our guests at Osmosis, which simultaneously supports this very worthy organization. Additionally, Osmosis has been conducting special fundraising events for Ceres for the past 4 years.

Upcoming Events in Our Neighborhood

From Farmer's Market to Table
Undoubtedly, the Occidental Farmer's Market is one of the most authentic local markets in Northern California. For anyone who has yet to experience it, just drive 3 miles up the road from Osmosis to the quaint hamlet of Occidental. Come to Oz for treatments first and then go up to the market to enjoy the outrageously awesome street food, music and local products. Nice combo. Or even better - go to the market early and come to Osmosis afterwards when dusk turns the hills all those magic colors. FRIDAYS 4pm TO DUSK.
