Take a walk outside! Lazy summer days are lovely for lounging, but taking a stroll outside can be extremely satisfying for your body, mind and spirit. We are blessed to live in an area with an abundance of trails for walking and soaking in the beauty that surrounds us in Sonoma County.

Walking has so many health benefits such as lowering one's risk for cancer, obesity, heart disease, anxiety and depression. We at Osmosis would like to invite you to make a day of hiking and then visiting our spa in order to rejuvenate after your walk. We suggest heading out to the coast in the morning for your walk in order to skirt the afternoon wind and crowds.

Our suggested leisure walking routes are Pomo Red Hill Loop, The Pomo Canyon Trail and the Kortum Trail which can all be accessed via the Shell Beach parking lot (About 30 minutes from Osmosis). The trails will take you from the ocean through ancient redwood forests, meandering meadows and atop hillsides with spectacular views! To learn more, click here.

Enchanted Dharma at Osmosis, Thursday August 16th from 6-9 pm

Join Nina Wise and Jennifer Berezan for an evening of song, chanting, meditation, and wisdom teachings.

Nina Wise is an improvisational performance artist and dharma teacher. Her pieces have garnered seven Bay Area Critics' Circle Awards and founder of Motion Theater®. She is known for her provocative and original performance works and has garnered seven Bay Area Theater Critics' Circle Awards. Her written pieces have appeared in numerous publications including Tricycle, Yoga Journal and The Sun.

Jennifer Berezan is a unique blend of singer, songwriter, producer, and activist. Over the course of ten albums, she has developed and explored recurring themes with a rare wisdom. Her lifelong involvement in environmental, women's, and other justice movements as well as an interest in Buddhism and earth-based spirituality are at the heart of her writing.

Together they will weave stillness, song, wisdom tales and chanting into an event that offers to quiet the mind, open the heart, and tickle the funny bone.The evening will begin with delectable appetizers prepared by Osmosis chef, Kristopher Kolkema and served with Sonoma County wines.
