Article2AEBG Annual Plan Approval & 2016-17 Funding
The AEBG Office is in the process of reviewing the recently submitted 2016-17 AEBG annual plan. Agencies whose plans are approved will be sent a letter that authorizes them to begin spending and provides instructions on filing the 2016-17 AEBG online budget.  
 
AEBG funding is being processed at the State level. All fiscal agents and direct funded members will begin receiving monthly disbursements at the end of this process.  Links to the apportionment schedules will be posted on the AEBG website .


 
Article32016 AEBG Annual Summit Registration 
All AEBG Regional Consortia are invited to send four representatives to participate in the 2016 AEBG Summit: Moving the Needle. It will be held on Tuesday, November 1, from 10:30AM to 5:00PM and Wednesday, November 2, from 8:30AM to 2:00PM at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento located at 1230 J Street, Sacramento, CA. Event check-in will begin at 9:00 AM on November 1, and the Summit will kick off at 10:30 AM.
 
The theme for this year's summit, "Moving the Needle", focuses on the progress and change that impacts adult education. Additionally, areas such as WIOA alignment, performance measures, data collection, consortia effectiveness and shaping the long-term vision for California's adult education system will be addressed.
 
Registration and hotel reservation information has been sent to the primary contacts for each of the regional consortia. Please work within your regions to determine who will represent your region at the event and coordinate registration through your consortium's primary contact. Participants will need to register and make hotel reservations by September 30th.

Article4Regional Consortia Presentation Proposals 
Thank you to those who have submitted a proposal to present at the 2016 Annual Summit!  We will be finalizing the list of presenters and will be in touch soon regarding whether your proposal has been selected. 


Article5Summit Volunteers
Thank you to those who have signed up to volunteer at the 2016 AEBG Annual Summit!  Many more individuals signed up than we anticipated.  We will be selecting volunteers on a first come, first serve basis and will be in touch regarding those who have been selected.
