There is No Webinar This Week, Join Us Next Week for  Double Dose of Webinars
There is no webinar this week. Join us next week for a double dose.  On Wednesday, July 6th at 12:00PM there will be a special webinar overview on the AEBG portal for annual plan and data submission.  On Friday, July 8th at 12:00PM there will be a webinar on an Immigrant Workforce Training Program.  
Both webinars will be recorded and posted to the AEBG Webinar Series page. Visit that page or see below for directions on connecting to the webinar.

  • Go to www.cccconfer.org
  • Click the Meetings tab at the top of the screen or the Join a Class or Meeting Button at the bottom of the screen
  • Locate your meeting and click Connect
  • Fill out the form using passcode 314393 and click Connect
Please note that some participants have been having trouble connecting to CCCConfer webinars possibly due to a system upgrade to Windows 10. Article1FAQs for Annual Plan and Student Data
The AEBG Office plans to release tables & templates tomorrow (Friday, July 1) for the annual plan and the student data.  In order to help us generate FAQs for the annual plan and student data - please submit any questions regarding the annual plan an student data reporting to the AEBG inbox (Email: aebg@cccco.edu) to be answered during the July 6th webinar. Please be sure to specify the section of the report your question refers to in the message subject line.

A reminder that 2016-17 Annual Plans are due on August 15th.  Information on how to access the portal is coming soon.  

Article1Student Data Collection Guidance Released
See the link below to review the instructions for the 15-16 AEBG Student Data Collection.  Tables will be released Friday. The student data will be entered via the AEBG Portal by August 1, 2016. 
Article1AEBG Data and Accountability
Instructions and Guidance
The AEBG Office has released the AEBG Data and Accountability instructions.  The funding will be used to:
  • Resolve AEBG data collection needs required by AB104, 
  • Foster regional and local system integration, coordinate regional intake, assessment, and referral, 
  • Ultimately connect to a state level AEBG Data System.
Instructions have been released (see below or CLICK HERE). Budget and work plans will be due by December 20, 2017. Funding is good through December 31, 2017 with a final expenditure and progress report due in January 2018 and close out report in February 2018. Budgets, expenditures, and progress will be reported, using a separate code (15-328-XX), via the current online reporting system (used under AB86, and currently being used by AB104).

See the link to the allocations by consortia. Please note - both columns on the data and accountability funding sheet (including the unspent funding) will be tracked and included on the data and accountability workplans, budgets, and online tracking of expenses & progress.
Upcoming Deliverables: Period 2 Expenses & Progress Report Due July 31
Just a reminder that 2015-16 Period 2 report on expenditures and progress is due July 31st.  The report can be submitted online anytime between July 1, 2016 and July 31, 2016.  
Article1Report on the Integration of Immigrants Into American Society
For last week's webinar, Dr. Irene Bloemraad,  Professor of Sociology, the Thomas Garden Barnes Chair of Canadian Studies at Berkeley, and a member of the U.S. National Academies of Science committee reporting on the integration of immigrants into American society joined us.  She presented on the report issued by the National Academy of Science report on the Integration of Immigrants into American Society issued in September 2015.  To view the webinar or her presentation visit the AEBG webinar page (CLICK HERE).
